The International Youth Internship Program offers Métis youth the opportunity to travel abroad to complete a six month paid international work experience. The program specializes in Indigenous youth leadership and Indigenous community development.
The program was first offered by Ghost River Rediscovery Society in partnership with the Métis Nation of Alberta in 2006/2007. In 2011/2012 we completed our fourth Métis International Internship Program. Our most recent program offered in 2011/2012 was administered through Rupertsland Institute.
